Dimmable, comfortable light, variable lamp life

I have several of these in my light. They emit a great relaxing light and work with dimmers. Dim them and you get a pretty wide range of brightness, and the lower you go the redder the light gets. The bulbs themselves look good on or off. Some of them burned out prematurely, others lasted longer than expected. They are also not energy efficient compared to LED or fluorescent lighting. I am happy with them because I use them for decorative lighting where aesthetics are the most important.
