I have frosted glass bulbs in my house that don't give off much light. I like my home to be well lit and I usually buy high lumen lamps. They immediately differed from each other and were much cheaper than buying new chandeliers or fixtures. If you like bright lights this is great for the money!

I have several of these in my light. They emit a great relaxing light and work with dimmers. Dim them and you get a pretty wide range of brightness, and the lower you go the redder the light gets. The bulbs themselves look good on or off. Some of them burned out prematurely, others lasted longer than expected. They are also not energy efficient compared to LED or fluorescent lighting. I am happy with them because I use them for decorative lighting where aesthetics are the most important.

Lightbulbs are great - the halogen element sits where the filament should be so it looks almost exactly like the incandescent bulb it replaces. Note however that this large box (12 bulbs, 6 packs of 2 bulbs each) seems prone to breakage - two blister packs were broken and one of the bulbs was shattered. But the rest is fine! This is a huge stroke of luck as Revain's return policy requires shipping the entire box of 12, which will no doubt cost more than $2 for a single bulb.
