Great pump. If your hose is fitted with a Schrader valve you may need an adapter when using R134 automotive gauges. The supplied adapter does not have a valve depressor for the ACME size, but it does for the older R12 size. Several people have complained that it fills your workspace with clouds of smoke, and that's what happens when you overfill it. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Also, don't put oil in the exhaust port, it's a big red pin that says OIL. (Yes it's a bass back) It's a great pump, depressurizes quickly and I read max vacuum for my size. I let it run 24 hours straight and it was ready to add a small amount of oil. It's going to be hot, but that's okay. Also the noise level is about what you would expect, much lower than the average oil lubricated compressor. If you need a pump in this price range, buy this one.
