Oh, perfect pet supplies. I don't know what to say. I think you can be worse than AA batteries. Did you really expect your double leaf door to only last 6 months before the first leaf needs replacing? Would you consider making two sets of replacement doors at a reasonable price because of course you would find in your extensive product testing that the second door would fail in just a month? Problem changing the valve. My dogs occasionally run through the door like it's a time portal and they're being chased by something HUGE. The flaps begin to stretch and then begin to fall off. I think a fairly simple technique, like a shiny metal edging on the bottom that helps hold the door closed, would triple the door's lifespan. My problem is that by the time I've replaced both doors I only have $30 to replace the entire unit. It's crazy! These flaps were supposed to sell for $10 each, but instead I have to spend almost four times as much.
