Best KVM I've found

Works great for my 120Hz ultra wide monitor. with 2 Windows PCs and 2 Mac laptops. It's not perfect, but if you set it up properly, it will be reliable. * When I connect Mac laptops directly to KVM, they rebuild everything as I switch to and from them, which takes a while and is quite annoying. To get around this you can use a device like the DP REPEATER sold by level1techs. This basically tricks your Mac into thinking the display is still connected when you unplug it, making the switch a breeze. * YOU MUST USE GOOD CABLES. I originally used the displayport cable that came with my monitor and it didn't work at all. The screen kept going black. I swapped the cables and now it works great.* Do not try to use the keyboard and mouse connectors. Use only the USB ports on the front panel. The problem that others have mentioned is that the mouse port switches when you get to the edge of the screen, which is very annoying. I only switch with the remote that comes with the KVM. Also, the gaming keyboard does not work well when connected to the keyboard port. I first tried ConnectPro's more expensive KVM and it was terrible. I am very happy with this one from Tripp LIte.

Pros
  • Two USB 3.0 hub ports allow USB peripherals to be shared between connected computers
Cons
  • Out of fashion
