Works great for 4k/240hz DisplayPort setup

I have an Odyssey G9 and need a more powerful KVM to support a 5120 x 1440 (4k equivalent) monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. This KVM was perfect for my needs. I plugged in a USB hub in the front and connected a keyboard/mouse to it. You can use the keyboard/mouse ports on the back, but they switch based on hidden shortcuts. Not sure why it doesn't have good reviews, not many KVMs can run with DisplayPort in a high resolution setting.

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Disappear

Absolute junk: computer and accessories

The device looks well made and has excellent properties, even unique on the market, but in practice it is completely useless. Not only was there no video output, but mouse input became jittery and my keyboard stopped working at random points. Huge disappointment because I really need this thing to work.

Pros
  • GOLS-certified
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Sync issues with Samsung G9 monitor and Radeon Rx 5700XT

I like seamless switching between 2 PCs and 2 laptops I have at home and at work but when I set it up for my gaming PC it is the screen sometimes goes dark and does not sync for up to a minute. So now I have 4 PCs connected to a keyboard and a mouse, but the gaming PC is connected to the second monitor input.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • too dull

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Works fine. Super thin so it can be installed under my desk with control strips. My ultra-wide 34" monitor runs at 120Hz, so I can make good use of my gaming rig and easily switch to my work laptop. The only downside is this "mouse bypass" feature, which causes it to switch between displays each time your mouse touches the left or right edge of the screen. Support said it can't be turned off, but plugging your mouse into the front USB instead of the back fixes it. The score is so low becauseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Two USB 3.0 hub ports allow USB peripherals to be shared between connected computers

Best KVM I've found

Works great for my 120Hz ultra wide monitor. with 2 Windows PCs and 2 Mac laptops. It's not perfect, but if you set it up properly, it will be reliable. * When I connect Mac laptops directly to KVM, they rebuild everything as I switch to and from them, which takes a while and is quite annoying. To get around this you can use a device like the DP REPEATER sold by level1techs. This basically tricks your Mac into thinking the display is still connected when you unplug it, making the switch aโ€ฆ

Cons
  • Out of fashion

Good specs but leaves something to be desired

For the price of a KVM I expected a lot more. I have multiple switches to run my multi-monitor setup (2 laptops, 2 desktops, three monitors). When I added the third screen, I decided to use the DisplayPort switch instead of HDMI - partly because my monitor supports DP better and all my systems have DP outputs, which I use DP-to-HDMI for. had to use converter. I chose this particular KVM because it supports DP 1.4 and can play 4k at 60Hz. Many other 4K KVMs only run at 30Hz. After hookingโ€ฆ

Perfect except for audio

I purchased this KVM in January 2021 to upgrade an existing IOGear DVI KVM to deliver higher quality video to native DisplayPort . For keyboard, video and mouse, this KVM is fantastic. I can easily run 1920 x 1080 (the maximum my monitor supports) at 144MHz over DisplayPort connections. If you're not a fan of mouse emulation, you can connect a mouse to one of the front USB ports. I don't rely on my KVM being a USB hub, so it doesn't matter to me. As others have pointed out, it doesn't supportโ€ฆ
