Does pretty much what it says on the tin and does it better than a manual compression gauge. No leaks, easy to install and easy to understand. Different sized threaded lugs for different sized plugs make the connection airtight, presumably for accurate measurements. I read compression levels maybe 3 times a year. If so... this set is well made, lots of brass and solid threaded parts... I won't be needing any other tools any time soon. If you're a guy like me who doesn't read compression levels that often but wants a decent way to do it when you need to check for basic issues you need to be able to work on your own...here's one little help .
