The second bulb I tried to remove had a broken spring on the largest socket.

I was trying to remove the headlight bulbs from the front of the garage so I used the largest socket. The first pear came loose from the bar and my arm was aching badly trying to reattach the bar at full stretch. In the end I won and knocked out the first lightbulb. Then the spring of the second bulb that I tried to pull out broke.
