I had to return these. I was afraid I would harm the cockatiel if I used them in his cage. The smell was so strong I had to leave it in the garage before returning it.

I like perches but if your cage has large gaps between bars you will need larger shims if the perches fall off as the shims provided are small

Just what I expected, perfect for my zebra finches. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it didn't have enough pucks. The thicker perches came with 2 washers each, as expected. However, the fork rods only came with one washer.

I was trying to remove the headlight bulbs from the front of the garage so I used the largest socket. The first pear came loose from the bar and my arm was aching badly trying to reattach the bar at full stretch. In the end I won and knocked out the first lightbulb. Then the spring of the second bulb that I tried to pull out broke.

They are a good size! No mold, no smell, but kind of dirty and dusty. Don't worry, just wash them like you would anything else with birds! Great size and packaging for the price. They are excellent for small to medium sized birds, probably up to the Gray Parrot for the fatter bass in this set. The bifurcated perches are a bit thinner so I wouldn't risk an African Gray on them. And one of the forked groupers doesn't have a wing nut, but that's the size I got my hands on. I would buy again!
