I followed the installation instructions and used the correct plastic adapter for my plastic gas cylinder. Everything seemed fine - the landing was tight, and the pump pumped gas well. One issue to note was that the gas would continue to flow for about a second after releasing the pump handle trigger, which could result in an overflow if care is not taken. My actual problem with this pump is that after installation there was a strong smell of gasoline fumes in the area where the pump was stored. For safety reasons I took the gas bottle outside where I couldn't keep it for long. Due to a smoke issue I contacted Revain for a refund as I was unable to return the pump as it was flammable.
