They're great. I keep them in a small bag in my truck along with a pressure gauge and they work perfectly. When it's time to air out, I screw one onto one of the tire vents, then wait about 50 seconds before doing the same with the next tire. After 50 seconds I move on to tire number 3. At this point the pressure in the first tire is almost at the limit and I can remove the first deflator. Then I pull one on the last hoop until the next hoop is ready. Then I just keep an eye on the last two tyres. They make ventilation much faster and much easier. In my opinion, they are necessary in the terrain.
