Review on 1 Quart of General Finishes Lamp Black Water-Based Milk Paint by Kelly Sadiq

I love General Fonishes products. I do no preparation; I simply clean the item thoroughly and start painting. The first coat is always thin and doesn't cover much, so I apply three full coats and then do the necessary touch ups. The product dries very quickly - within 30-45 minutes I can usually apply the next layer. In the photos I ended up with 3 layers of heavy duty satin top. This made the black darker, deeper and less matt. I find that a top coat is necessary with dark colors, otherwise you get lime dust when you touch the surface. I used to use a roller and foam applicator, but now use a brush almost exclusively.
