1 Quart of General Finishes Lamp Black Water-Based Milk Paint Review

I love General Fonishes products. I do no preparation; I simply clean the item thoroughly and start painting. The first coat is always thin and doesn't cover much, so I apply three full coats and then do the necessary touch ups. The product dries very quickly - within 30-45 minutes I can usually apply the next layer. In the photos I ended up with 3 layers of heavy duty satin top. If you've never had milk paint experience, do your research. This stuff is THE BEST. It dries in about 15-30 minutes and sticks to everything. I painted our waxed laminate kitchen cabinets without sanding them AT ALL. I wiped down the existing cabinets with a degreaser to remove dirt and grease from the surface. I have painted 2 dressers this color including drawers. I needed two shifts. in everything except boxes. I probably would have had enough work on the boxes, but I did fun galaxy colors over black so a second coat of paint on top wasn't necessary. This was the first time I've used General Finishes Milk Paint, but not the first time I've used their products. Obsessed with it. Firstly, no chemical smell, which is great because I don't want my family to inhale chemical ink. I painted the inside and it has no chemical smell or odor at all. It went smoothly!
