Took me about 3 hours to replace the fuel pump and delivery unit. when I turned on the ignition. the key on the fuel gauge went out. I found out later that it was a little less than 1/8th tank. My Silverado runs out of gas before the E or Gas light comes on. Now I have to do this work again. A plus. It's been over 30 days so I have to buy a new one... and throw this one away. probably made for a Chevy V6 - it will fit but not perfectly - then the fuel gauge will not fit 1/8th tank - and the pump itself is not that big - so it will work but only for a short time. Buy a better pump... trust me - if you have a 5.3 V8 - you'll save yourself the trouble of doing it twice if you buy it. I say go ahead ACDelco, this one N is done.
