I use this as a hold down lock on my motorcycle. In particular, I run cables through and around my travel bags...Say it takes someone even a minute to figure it out and by then I hope to see them! Of course, if you have a good pair of bolt cutters, you can cut that cable very quickly... But honestly, what do you want? If someone is really determined to steal what you have locked up, it is likely to happen. I love these locks.
