Wobbly Plastic: Windshields

3 weeks after installation Molding ripped in half while driving on the Autobahn. I had my car windshield replaced by a professional windshield technician. These moldings should be replaced when the windshield is repaired. An engineering sealant/adhesive is applied to key areas of the molding to hold it in place. The retaining clips alone will not hold the molding in place. Cheap clips and weak moldings allow for premature failure.
