Two clips broke easily so I had to make sure one was all the way up and all the way down. Must order these soon. It is not obvious that they are missing. Everything else is fine-tuned to the exact! 2016 Ford Explorer XLT

That worked great for about 6 months. Went tight, easy to install. Then one day I was driving down the freeway and she was driving. Most of the glue came with it, and all but one of the clips were broken, leading me to believe the glue wasn't doing the job.

The product was easy to install and fits my ladder perfectly. I was disappointed as THE CLAMPS ARE NOT IN THE BOX. They show them on the product in the photos. And the questions section says they are included. I had to drive an hour to FORD and pay an extra $25 for clips.

Cheap, I was trying to save a buck. You know the story. The first broke in half. The second broke after hitting it with the heel of his hand and trying to hook the top pin. The pin didn't hang, it broke. Trying to go cheap because given the windshield trim they wear out pretty quickly. But this time I ordered another one from Ford. The last 3 Ford parts fit without problems.

3 weeks after installation Molding ripped in half while driving on the Autobahn. I had my car windshield replaced by a professional windshield technician. These moldings should be replaced when the windshield is repaired. An engineering sealant/adhesive is applied to key areas of the molding to hold it in place. The retaining clips alone will not hold the molding in place. Cheap clips and weak moldings allow for premature failure.

Arrived damaged, broken in half. The replacement arrived safe, installation was quick and easy. During installation I used some black Permatex silicone glue for extra adhesion to the cheap plastic clips. Time will tell how it holds up. The fit was pretty good, but not perfect, although it's not really noticeable unless you get close to the roofline. Considering it was part of the OEM cost I can't complain about the fit.

I bought my wife a conductor when we were expecting our fourth child who needed a third row. The column was missing, as so often, because many other researchers were missing on the way, also with us. The first rack they sent was for the passenger not the driver so I sent it back and they sent the correct one.
