Multiple reviews show they are just as good as store bought branded paper towels. Having used the roll myself and trying to figure out what to do with the remaining 5, I can honestly say they definitely CANNOT compete with regular paper towels. They might be a little better than some commercial towels, although I would go as far as to argue that while they're probably more absorbent, they're definitely not as durable. They are smaller and thinner than store bought ones and tear fairly easily even with the lightest of cleaning jobs. Used in a commercial hand dryer dispenser they can be tolerable but that's about all I would consider them for.
