According to Revane I purchased the bottom heating platen 21st December 2014 and the top heating platen 12th December 2020. I knew I loved these Hot Pads, they're the first ones I pick up and I'll take the time to find them if they're not in the right place. Why did I buy new ones, well one had a tragic accident. for Thanksgiving. I could probably keep it, but the turkey fats just seemed more labor intensive than they were worth. These pads don't actually die. unless of course you color them with turkey fat. Gift for Christmas, 4th of July etc and many pads that accent or emphasize something in the kitchen but these are the pads that get the job done. It's impossible to count how many times they've gone through the washer/dryer. I can wholeheartedly attest to the quality and durability of these pads. Get them for the job you need to do and let the decorator take care of the fru fru pods.
