Personal experience: Before that, there were 35 2.0, 50 1.4, 50 1.8. I bought a lens for 6D in sigmaphoto in Hong Kong. Of course, the picture on the open blurs the background to zero, but the autofocus let us down - there is no confidence in it - if it is further than 3 meters, then that it will hit is not at all a fact. Therefore, the desire to photograph them became less and less. In poor lighting, it should focus better with such a hole, but on the contrary, it crawls endlessly where 35 2.0 clings. 70-200 4 he hits the center spot perfectly, and this one. Uh. You can tighten the aperture, but the focus is still not accurate - and why is it needed then. I decided to correct the situation - I bought a docking station - I reflashed it - the focus became more responsive - I noticed it right away as I put it on, but there was no longer a desire to test - I put it up for sale and sold it. Instead, I bought 40 2.8 and 85 1.8, which I am still glad about. there is still money left There are familiar photographers who have this bread - right now everyone has this in their arsenal and is happy. As it is - to each his own. about weight - this lens is far from being for walking - after walking with it on vacation for 8 hours with a camera around your neck - somehow itβs not very willing to take it the next day, so itβs not for travel photography. And one more word about the drawing - I see it as somehow gloomy - look at any photos from it anywhere - I donβt know how to say it exactly, but it has a high contrast, dark edging on objects - the photos are somehow gloomy, although they are taken even in bright day - it crushes like that - for me personally.
