Review on Black Shimano PD-T421 CLICK'R Pop Up Mechanism Pedals by Jarrett Francis

Great, especially first time with clipless pedals

I used these pedals on my city bike to learn how to switch from toe cage to clipless. They worked great! I got a lot of trust from them. Putting them on the lightest setting will feel like your show is being pulled in by a powerful magnet. You can easily remove your foot at any time, even if you forgot to turn your foot properly. However, you are liable if you need them. In the first few weeks I sometimes got into situations and forgot. However, as if by magic, my foot would come out of a tight spot whenever I needed it. I have never fallen off a bicycle. Being 60 soon, I don't recover as quickly as I used to, so that was very important. After 3 months I bought a more conventional set (Shimano XTR PD-M9020) when I got a new road bike. Now I feel perfectly fine. If you're concerned about learning to ride with a contactless system, I highly recommend these pedals.
