Excellent pliers like all Knipex products. Apart from being very happy with this purchase, just a couple of comments (the reason being not a 5 star rating). First, soft jaws. Yes, soft sponges are the main feature of these pliers, but they slide more. I believe that other, tougher material would be better. As with all Knipex pliers, they actually squeeze (without ruining my job) and have been able to complete a few projects that way. Excellent work. Second, most Knipex pliers have a pinch guard that prevents injury if the pliers slip (the handles don't come fully together). Not these pliers. If you open them up a few slots, the grips will come fully together and you'll pinch your palm if you slip. I don't know why that could be, especially at this price. Still an excellent product. Highly recommended.
