Nothing can grab 😞

Knipex is my favorite tool manufacturer and my Revain checks can prove it. However, I gave this tool away. I bought it for the chrome plumbing I didn't want to ruin. But I can't get these pliers to pinch anything. I've even tried it on large copper inlays and cast iron piping to no avail. The part simply rotates in the jaws of the pliers. Nevertheless, knipex will continue to do so and will always remain a loyal consumer.

Jaw pads are too soft: Pliers

The quality of workmanship meets our expectations of knipex, but the jaw pads are WAY too soft. When I try to apply enough pressure to pull out or tighten the gun connector, the pads compress so much that the pliers either slip off the connector or just twist without grabbing the connector. My old blue-tipped pot tongs with a hard red plastic insert still work perfectly even after 14 years of wear and tear. I guess I'll just buy him fresh pads. Spend extra money on these German pliers. They have never let me down and Knipex make great tools. This is perfect for removing large D38999 connectors! You've saved my hands in tight quarters more times than I can count. And the nice thing is that they are not disposable, because you can replace the soft sponges. They also open wider than your cheap soft jaws, making it easier to remove very large connectors. Indispensable when working with electrical connections or pipes. Accessories you…

Highly recommended as the best among power tools and hand tools

Excellent pliers like all Knipex products. Apart from being very happy with this purchase, just a couple of comments (the reason being not a 5 star rating). First, soft jaws. Yes, soft sponges are the main feature of these pliers, but they slide more. I believe that other, tougher material would be better. As with all Knipex pliers, they actually squeeze (without ruining my job) and have been able to complete a few projects that way. Excellent work. Second, most Knipex pliers have a pinch guard
