I argued for a few months before I bought it. I make my own waffle pancake mix so I was worried I would have to adjust too much to make this work. I was wrong. I didn't have to adjust my recipe at all and the waffles turn out perfectly, no mess every time. I haven't had any issues with leaks at all and my batter isn't thick so batter isn't a problem. The only thing I can think of is that people don't wait for the green light before using it. I had no problems and I had it for about 3 months. I highly recommend it and use it about every other day without exception!
