Elebase USB-C Female to USB Male Adapter - This product works, but only up to 44 MB/s No matter how it is connected to the USB-C port, it does not work at full speed my SSD, which should be at least 430 MB/s. I've attached some test results from several different brands. I'd suggest buying Onvian or Electop instead, as they run at full speed on my SSD if you flip it the right way, and run at 44MB/s if you don't plug it into the USB-C port properly - If If you show the description "480 Mbit/s" = 60 Mbit/s and talk to Elebase, it seems that this is a pure USB 2.0 device. With that in mind, I feel this device performs within specification, but is still lower than other devices that support USB 3.0. Elebase seems to have a new USB 3.0 and they asked me if I would like to try it. When I get this new design I will test it and try to update this post again. Edit 2: I got a newer USB 3.0 product and ran some quick speed tests and it works just as well as other brands. I would suggest purchasing the Elebase product listed below if USB 3.0 speed is important to you.
