The packaging of the product is fantastic and the quality of the product is excellent. The setup and troubleshooting instructions are very clear. This is the third powerline/wifi adapter product I've tried in my current home and while my electrical setup and transmitter spacing recommendations are correct, these powerline adapters still perform very poorly in my situation. This powerline adapter in particular had two major issues that I'd like to point out compared to the other two brands/products I've tried: 1. This product was the first one that didn't work for me, I really had to turn to the troubleshooting guide in the owner's manual that came with it to try and fix the problems I had right out of the box and to understand the signals the transmitters were sending out. give. One solution not included in the troubleshooter was to simply unplug it and plug it back in fixed the issues, which worked in my case.2. Another big issue, particularly with this product, was that the transmitters on the wall got unusually hot - again I've tried a few other powerline brands/products where this has never happened. These transmitters got so hot during use that I would be seriously concerned about continuing to use them in my home. I have a feeling this is yet another Powerline/WiFi adapter that looks like false advertising, at least in my case. This adapter blew up my internet speeds when used as both a WiFi extender and a fixed cable. The numbers are below for comparison. It ends up being useful to someone, but in my case it wasn't. My router seems good enough that I can get about 50% of my hardline internet speed all over my house and of course when I'm connected to a hardline I use the right ethernet cables and that's it for 100% speed to reach.
