I was using video cameras to monitor my dad as his Alzheimer's progresses, but the cameras had a delay and my dad experienced a bad fall. This is what led me to looking for a bed alarm. As my dad is a restless sleeper, I did have about a week of adjustments and false alarms before I could figure out the exact position for the pad on the bed. Now that I have it sorted, it's been fantastic. I can actually sleep in my own bed and when the alarm goes off I have just enough time to get into his room before he attempts to get up on his own. Worth every penny!
