Our wireless bed alarm sensor pad and pager are designed to notify you before it's too late. You'll be able to rest easy, especially in the middle of the night, knowing you can get there before they fall. UNIQUE PRE-ALERT SMART TECHNOLOGY: Unlike competitors' bed alarms for elderly adults, the Early-Alert is the ONLY system that detects the process of standing up and notifies you right on time, before they are already out of the bed. Our patented sensor pad has been improved to REDUCE FALSE ALARMS due to shifting and repositioning. EASY TO USE AND EASY TO SET UP: The bed sensor pad connects wirelessly with the handheld monitor. The alarm will sound or vibrate continuously just before the patient starts to stand up from the early-alert zones. Our 10 x 33 inches pressure pad is easy to wipe clean and incontinence resistant. PORTABLE PAGER WITH ADJUSTABLE VOLUME: Our light weight pager device unit is small enough to fit into your pocket and comes with a pocket clip. It can even be fixed in a wall with the included mount bracket. The caregiver can simply adjust the volume from high to low or VIBRATION only. Choose the setting that's best for you during the day, evening or to summon you out of a deep sleep. COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED: The LUNDERG smart bed alarm for seniors set comes with ALL BATTERIES INCLUDED, and has a 1 Year Warranty. Our bed pads have a lifespan of 15 months (competitors only last 45 days to 12 months) so you SAVE MONEY! IMPORTANT NOTE: THE PAD SHOULD BE PLACED ON TOP OF A FLAT MATTRESS OR MATTRESS COVER AND BELOW A FITTED SHEET TO PREVENT THE PAD FROM MOVING AND GIVING FALSE ALARMS OR CAUSING THE PRODUCT TO MALFUNCTION.

Worked well for my opinion

I ordered this for my sister-in-law as she entered hospice level care. She was strong enough to get out of bed on her own, but not safe once up and she was slightly confused and forgetful. My brother slept so soundly that he would not awaken to help her. I set it up so that the alarm box could be heard by the rest of us in the house so we could help her instead. During the day she slept a lot and was not yet at the point where someone needed to be at her bedside constantly, so the alarm box was

Cons
  • The product may require frequent battery replacement

A quality product that does what they say.

My wife is a very restless sleeper and the different settings on the pad avoids false alarms. The instructional videos make installation easy also.

Pros
  • Helped keep my mom in bed, she is a sleep walker.
Cons
  • The pager may be too loud or disruptive during the night

Put it at the shoulders

The company needs to know this and adjust its instruction book accordingly. A professional caregiver taught me this: When the unit is at hip level, the lag time of the alarm is so long that the patient can be standing before you get there. The unit needs to be put up at SHOULDER level. Then as soon as the shoulders come up, the alarm sounds, and that gives you the extra few seconds you need.

Pros
  • It can be used to monitor multiple patients simultaneously
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for people with pets who sleep on the bed

Provides peace of mind for caregivers.

My husband is on Hospice and had two previous falls. The bed alarm is worth its weight in gold for the peace of mind in provides. There was a minor flaw with the monitor having a stripped screw, so I couldn't tighten it with the screwdriver provided, but a rubber band is holding the monitor together just fine. I'm sure the company would have rectified the problem, but I never contacted them.

Pros
  • UNIQUE PRE-ALERT SMART TECHNOLOGY: Unlike competitors' bed alarms for elderly adults, the Early-Alert is the ONLY system that detects the process of standing up and notifies you right on time, before they are already out of the bed. Cons
  • The bed sensor pad may cause skin irritation or allergies

Peace of mind in my review

The bed alarm works great! I can be working around our apartment and know instantly if my husband tries to get out of bed. We also bought the neck alarm that pairs with this same unit. We are very pleased with the units.

Pros
  • Bed Safety Handles & Rails
Cons
  • The alarm may be too sensitive and go off frequently

Works Perfectly - my new review

I purchased this bed alarm to monitor my 93 year old mother at night. She had been getting up in the night and had fallen several times. This alarm works exactly as promised. It alarms before she gets out of bed so I can easily get to her room before she is up. I've had it for two weeks and have never had a false alarm, even though she does tend to move around in the bed. But it very reliably goes off when she sits up on the side of the bed. The alarm has allowed me to worry less at night…

Pros
  • It works as advertised. Thank you for the reviews
Cons
  • The alarm system may be difficult to set up for some users

Easy to use and very reliable

Purchased for my parents living in a 12 bedroom assisted living facility. 3 other families have bought the same one and we are happy with the performance so far. Had a few questions and the people at Lunderg answered those questions promptly

Pros
  • EASY TO USE AND EASY TO SET UP: The bed sensor pad connects wirelessly with the handheld monitor. The alarm will sound or vibrate continuously just before the patient starts to stand up from the early-alert zones. Our 10 x 33 inches pressure pad is easy to wipe clean and incontinence resistant.
Cons
  • The technology may be difficult to use for those who are not tech-savvy

This is a great product! So easy to set up and I sleep better knowing the alarm will wak me up should she get up. And alerts me should she just raise up. Plenty of time to get to her to hep

Pros
  • It has a long-range transmission of up to 1000 feet
Cons
  • The system may not work well for people who share a bed

Exactly as advertised

This is a fantastic product! We have used it for a couple of weeks for my 91 year old mother-in-law (recent stroke victim) who lives with us. We have the bed unit plus the red button alert. It gives us immense peace of mind knowing that we will be notified whenever she sits up in bed, since it is not safe for her to try to walk on her own at this point. The range is excellent; it work at all sections of the house and the entire perimeter of our yard. Simple to set up and use and well built.

Pros
  • Lunderg
Cons
  • The system may interfere with other electronic devices in the home

THIS ONE "REALLY " WORKS

This is the 3rd bed alarm I've tried for my mom, she moved in with us 5 months ago and frequently fell getting out of bed alone. With the other 2 less expensive brands she was out of bed and crossing the room before the alarm went off to get me downstairs and into her room. This one goes off as soon as she moves off the center of the pad. That could be an issue with a restless sleeper. I use the inexpensive LONGPLUS camera (also purchased on ebay) when she sits up I can see her and talk to her…

Pros
  • Bedroom Aids & Accessories
Cons
  • The system may be too expensive for some people

A game changer for caregivers

I was using video cameras to monitor my dad as his Alzheimer's progresses, but the cameras had a delay and my dad experienced a bad fall. This is what led me to looking for a bed alarm. As my dad is a restless sleeper, I did have about a week of adjustments and false alarms before I could figure out the exact position for the pad on the bed. Now that I have it sorted, it's been fantastic. I can actually sleep in my own bed and when the alarm goes off I have just enough time to get into his room

Pros
  • The Lunderg Early Alert Bed Alarm System boasts smart technology that detects movement and sounds a pre-alert
Cons
  • The bed sensor pad may not be sensitive enough to detect movement

Don’t hesitate; this is the one.

If you’re looking to find an alarm system to help you know when your loved one is on the move, this is very helpful. In fact, it works so well that we learned our loved one was moving stealthily in the night at times we weren’t hearing movement. The alarm sounds as soon as our loved one sits up on the side of the bed—giving us time to wake, move, and assist. The pager-like device receives signals across our home—even outside if we step out to turn on irrigation or move laundry. For those…

Pros
  • It reduces the need for constant supervision by caregivers
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for people who move around a lot during the night

The best bed alarm: reliable and easy to use

This bed alarm has been a life saver for me. I got tired of cheap-made devices that are unreliable and give too many false alarms or sound the alarm too late. The Lunderg bed alarm is just perfect, not only gives you a higher quality feeling, but you receive the notifications when it is needed. For example, when my mother wakes up and sits in the bed she already knows that I will be there in a second. She doesn’t need to struggle anymore in the middle of the night to go to the toilet (she had a…

Pros
  • It's an investment in the safety and well-being of elderly and dementia patients
Cons
  • The pager may be too confusing or complicated for some users to operate

This daughter/caregiver is sleeping!

The bed alarm gives me confidence that I will know when my mom gets up in the night. A wonderful product! Easy to set up and use. Great customer service when I had a small problem. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • It is ideal for both short-term and long-term use
Cons
  • The product may not work well in homes with thick walls or other barriers
