I don't have much experience with this device, but so far I like it. It seems every bit as good as the factory direct from DeWalt, plus it has the added use of a USB port to charge other things that I honestly haven't used yet. The only thing it doesn't have are extra plastic ribs on the sides to keep fools out so nobody's clinging to the 60 volt battery of an 'old school' 18 volt tool - so be careful. Do not do that. Otherwise this one is BETTER than the DeWalt model in many ways as the DeWalt adapter requires incredible Hulk force to remove from the tool. I'm not joking. It's terrible. I don't know if their tolerance was a bit off when they made mine or if they just don't care because they want you to buy new stuff anyway, but that sucks. You should be ashamed. This one goes in and out of the tool much better.
