GM 8.2" rear wheels don't have a good reputation for durability. When I reinstalled my rear end I wanted to give my diff a try, so buying quality parts is part of the recipe for success .There are other good OEM's out there but I liked the instructions in the box and used Yukon parts throughout the build.I also reinforced the differential cover for extra strength. The 383 makes over 450hp and after 300 miles it's all working fine there is no differential.
