I wore them once and then washed them. This is my second time wearing it. You will feel very comfortable and warm enough. I bought these to wear for several hours on winter evenings after turning off the heat but before bed so the most important things to me are warmth, the ability to stay up and cover my calves, and comfort. They can/can ride a little high, up to the knee. Some people like it (me), some don't.
