Review on 📐 Starrett 13C 6-Inch Double Square - Optimized with Hardened Blade by Eddie Pollard

I have 2 of these, I expected them to be accurate at this price range. So I started working on projects that used both squares at the same time. I started noticing that the angle is different on the two squares. . Of course they have to be precision tools and I didn't know which one was defective so I had to buy a machine block to check and sure enough one of them was defective. I ended up using 240 grit sandpaper to clean up the beveled edge of the ruler to make it square. It doesn't matter in the end, but at this price I didn't expect to have to calibrate them, I could do that with a $10 HD tool.
