Excellent product and so much fun!

I have about 75 miles on this kit so far and it is amazing. Hopefully the following is helpful:I am 5’11” and weigh 170lbs. Bike tops out on flats at about 32 mph which is plenty for me as it starts to "death wobble” around that speed.I wanted to spend as little money as possible so I bought a solid platform at a thrift store. A Schwann Mesa for $45. The older model which was a local bike shop build.I bought a battery without a case bc it was cheapest. I bought 52v rated for a 1500w motor. I can go 30 miles with just one dip in the power meter so far.I didn’t want to spend extra money so I just used a rear bag I had and bought two strap locks to lock the battery in for anti-theft. Works great. I had trouble placing the controller bag but found a sweet spot on the seat post.Install. Install was easy but I did need to do a heavy soldering job to put an XT-90 connector on the controller to match my battery. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SOLDER ON BATTERY SIDE UNLESS YOU ARE A PRO. Just buy the battery that works for you with a connector you like and then solder that connector on the controller side. The controller comes with a lot of ring connectors and a junction box. Those are not waterproof so I changed the motor connectors to quick connects. Just cut off the old ring connector and crimp on a quick connect. If the wire is too small then bend it over and crimp it.The dropouts on my bike barely fit the rear hub but they ended up fitting nicely. I had to zip tie the motor cable out of the way so it wouldn’t rub. The one weakness of my build is that the bike I bought wasn’t equipped for disc brakes. So far side pull caliper brakes are fine but I would rather have disc. I will install a universal disc brake set soon but the side pulls work for now.The only thing that went wrong was that I ripped a brake wire out of one of the brake levers because I zip tied the cables too tight to the frame. I had to buy a new set of levers on Ebay for $19.A great build! Saving me tons of gas. Hope this helps!
