Large heavy faience casserole dish. It is oven safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Internal dimensions are 9 1/2 x 5 x 3 1/2 inches, if handles are included in the measurement add a few more inches to the length. The piece is perfect for baking a large yeast bread or quick bread. like pumpkin, banana or gingerbread. The piece I received was well made, with no rough edges or other imperfections, and came in a sturdy storage box.
