This seat cover worked great with no problems the first time we used this type of cover (previously I only used sheets or blankets). The back seat of our SUV (GMC Terrain) slides up to increase trunk space, so it's always better for dogs when they don't have access to the ground. This seat cover took a lot less time to make than the sheet. We just unfolded it and attached the straps to the headrests. Because the rear seat was moved forward, the seat cover lay across the entire seat without creating a "hammock". The puppies could walk normally but were better chained to a secure back seat. It will make car trips much easier! Dogs typically drool when driving (either out of nausea or excitement), and we could see them dripping onto the seat cover, indicating the cover is waterproof. Additionally, there is a plastic coating on the underside to prevent leaks from entering the seat. It is very well designed for dog owners.
