Review on KYB 565040 MonoMax Gas 🔧 Shock: Unleash Superior Performance and Control by Elvis Kohl

Purchased to eliminate shock absorbers as a possible cause of rattle in the rear of my 2005 Dakota. When I removed my original shocks, they were tired and there was barely enough charge to stretch them. Those KYBs were really tough! I reckon they could have 30 pounds of cargo in them. At first I thought they were going to make my ride hard, but they really tame the back of the truck. Installation was a daunting task, especially on the right hand side where the exhaust runs, but well worth the effort. The only downside is that KYB doesn't make matching front struts for those awesome rear shocks. I hope they last long on our terrible Toledo roads!
