Purchased April 2016. In November 2016 the visor at the bottom of the screen changed color. January 2017 Color change makes the monitor unusable. 90 days guarantee! So I spent $1200 on a monitor that lasted less than a year! This monitor was bought because it had high resolution and accurate color reproduction. It becomes useless for Photoshop detailing and ensuring color accuracy in design. How can I be sure the colors are correct when this color issue is already on the screen? My last monitor was a 30" aluminum Apple Studio Monitor (M9179LL/A - A1083) which is still working great after 9 years. I have many smaller, cheaper monitors that have lasted longer than this one. I use this monitor with a 12-core Mac Pro. I use it 7-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I turned on the screensaver after 15 minutes. The screen goes to sleep after 2 hours. This problem is unacceptable. Now I have to I buy a new monitor and basically throw it away I was wary of buying a Samsung (I'm a Mac user) and now I will never buy a Samsung product.
