Review on 🍏 Effortless Apple and Pear Peeling with EZMO: Stainless Steel Blades, 8 Wedges Slicer and Corer by David Ross

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Peeler works great, Corer is fine.

This year I have hundreds of apples of different shapes and sizes that I need to peel and cook. I really liked how the peeler adapts to the apple. It takes a little practice to find the best cleaning speed. I love that I can easily unroll and restart if it slips and stops grabbing your skin (which isn't uncommon with odd-shaped apples). In most cases, however, it peels thin skins well, leaving a small diameter unpeeled around the two ends. The core works well but doesn't cut through the last 1/16 inch. However, cut wedges separate easily. Sometimes the kernel freezes, but that's not a problem either. When pressed on the core, it sometimes squirts a little apple juice in the face. None of this is of major importance, but less desirable than mechanisms that clean the core with an effort. I decided not to buy an old pair of scissors because of the many complaints about the quality. I think the EZMOs should last at least a couple of seasons, which is worth the small investment. Also, my only concern is how long the blade will last.
