Review on Unior Fork Seal Installation Tool by David Garnic

I have replaced fork seals before and never had a problem. Not so with the new Fox Wafer Seals. A few months ago I tried using a piece of PVC to install new seals on my 14 Fox fork but couldn't. The fit was so tight that I buckled and crushed the metal flange of one of the gaskets. This was after putting the gaskets in my freezer beforehand - my custom fork plus the new gaskets make for a TUCK fit. While this tool was not perfect, it did allow for the installation of gaskets. The extension provides free guidance through the fork hub and makes it easier to install the seals straight. It's made of durable plastic, will easily withstand a hammer hit, and should last a while. Since the gaskets are not crimped and this tool has no stop, the gaskets can be driven under the yoke casting. Watch your progress.
