I used to have what I thought was a good quality self cleaning garlic press with ergonomic handles but the self cleaning function stopped working and then my husband used it and it just broke. I don't have that strong a grip and I liked the press, but sometimes I would just cut the garlic because the press was too forceful, and even then only a small amount of garlic came out. Step into this brand new garlic press and WOW! Literally and figuratively, this is AWESOME! LOTS of garlic comes out with no effort! We LOVE this cookware and the paring and scraping knife comes in handy too! My husband also found that we can gently press and crush the bouillon cube to make rice or soup. Can't wait to see what else we can do with it. I'm so glad my old abs busted, otherwise I probably never would have discovered it!
