Review on WD5000LPVX 500GB 2.5 Inch Mobile Hard Disk 💾 Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 7.0 MM by Aaron Wagner

I have had no problems with this drive and my laptop is over 7 years old. It's really useless for me to install WD Black HD. It's been about 6 months now and absolutely no failures. So far it's a good hard drive. Will update when it is 6 feet smaller. Decent price and I need reliability in my job as a field engineer. Most of my industrial software needs to run on a 32-bit system, as I have 16-bit software from the "old days" that hasn't been updated, and neither has the hardware. If you're interested in the difference in speed between this and the cache-heavy WD Black series, this one is noticeably slower. But not like the difference between normal HD and SSD. I bought it as a "good enough" drive for my computer and saved money which is nice. I recommend these if you want a reliable and decent hard drive, and spend the difference on some software if you want. In comparison, you get no more than 7% off WD Black. Maybe less realistic!
