The disk is good, the crackle is alarming, the total operating time of my disk is 12500 hours and it is turned on 2022 times, buffer memory is somehow not enough.

In my laptop, this 7mm wide drive was inserted into a 9.5mm drive cage, and got warm due to the compensating foam padding, which interfered with heat dissipation. I solved the problem of overheating by removing the foam pad, replacing it with 4 heat-insulating bridges along the edges of the disk case. Stopped basking.

If you like the brand, then you can buy a cheap hard drive in your box or laptop. If the information is expensive, I do not recommend this disc.

It works much slower than the "Black" series, this disk was taken as an external one. I do not advise you to put it in a laptop, it will slow down. It is better to add a little and take "black".

I wasn't thrilled that the hard drive was airmailed without any protection but it was in an anti-static bag. The description says it came in a WD box, so that's a lie. Bought for a friend's computer and installed it and Windows 10 driver works as it should with no problems. The only drawback is the 2016 drive.
