I've been using a marble mortar and pestle for about 30 years and for some odd reason I decided to spend $17 on this Molcajete. I'm excited. It's so much better than marble. I love how the tejolot fits in my hand (palm). It's much better than a traditional pestle and the Molcajete's texture crushes hard spices instantly. I can't wait to drink guac. Worth the price.
