FICTION! Best in Tires and Wheels

I replaced a faulty TPMS sensor on my 2007 Silverado 1500 (NBS) and spent HOURS exhausting and inhaling only for the system to refuse to read the sensors to recognize. Tires 10ply A/T KO if that matters. I relocated the tires (relocate the valve for better reception?) and tried again. I followed the 8-10 seconds (consecutive with stopwatch for 9s +/- 0.5s) GM advice, I tried venting 5s, 8s, 15s at other times. I've tried deflating constantly, sometimes for up to 1 minute, all to no avail. Even my wife got tired of helping me with the timer. I even drove away from stuff into the parking lot to avoid disturbing and still nothing. Sometimes it read the sensor and sometimes it didn't, but I couldn't successfully get past more than two. I must have tried 15 times, maybe more, and the frustration built up to the point that I called Chevy to find out how much it would cost them to do it. Chevy wanted $25 and I think the rep might have meant PER TIRE. After laughing and hanging up the phone I decided at $10 it was worth it. I was thrilled when it worked. For a meager ten bucks, it's worth not crawling and blowing air out of your tires like a Yaggaloon just to buy this thing ASAP. Now I will use it for hoop rotation too! If you can actually get the job done by deflating, then good. I tried this route but it just didn't work and I was like a dizzy kid after this thing did it in about 30 seconds. 10/10 recommend. 10/10 satisfied with the purchase.
