Works great on a 2015 Tahoe, but antenna location is critical

This tool worked great on my 2015 Chevy Tahoe after I found the ideal spot for the antenna. I first tried placing the end of the antenna near the top of the valve stem but it couldn't communicate with the TPMS. I then tried to place the end of the antenna on the bezel at the base of the valve stem. Finally I placed the end of the antenna on the rubber tire at the edge of the rim and at the base of the valve stem. This position worked great for all 4 tires (see photo). I am very satisfied with…

Works for 2017 volts; Should stick to sidewall of tire not wheel

Fits my 2017 Chevy Volt; However, note CAREFULLY - I've already made a return request because I thought it didn't work. even after you have followed the instructions to reset/map the Tire Pressure Sensor (TPS) in the vehicle. What you need to do is hold the tool NEAR THE TIRE SIDEWALL near the valve stem while pressing the button in the vehicle's TPS learn mode. I held it next to the valve stem on an aluminum wheel and it wouldn't go up. The instructions could perhaps be clearer. Very good…

Must have for my 2011 Camaro.

Saved me a lot of time and money! Last year I bought new wheels, tires and TPMS monitors for my 2011 Camaro SS. The TPMS sensors were bought off ebay and I felt like they sent me the wrong ones as I couldn't program them by hand and the tire fitter couldn't get them to install them with their tire monitor. So, I've been driving with the TPS light on for 8 months. I was finally ready to order new sensors and pay $200 for a fresh install when someone on another site recommended I try this…

let's work But that's not the case. 2017 Chevy Malibu

I bought this in February 2018 because I bought a newer car. I read and tested the reviews to make sure it works. So here comes November 2nd, 2018 when I actually had to use it due to a tire change. I read the manual, it has a new battery in it (even confirmed the battery was good with a meter), watched a video on how to do it BUT no luck. I've tried several times. I got a 2017 Chevy Malibu in learn mode, but when I placed this tool on the left front wheel next to the valve, the car never…

Fits 2009 Chevrolet HHR

I bought this to relearn TPMS valves when swapping tires on my 2009 Chevrolet HHR. The tool works and is easy to use. Didn't work on one of the rear wheels. Maybe I used an old battery. This requires a 9 volt battery, which is not included in the scope of delivery. I had to use an alternative method that I learned which is FREE and doesn't require the use of a retraining tool like this. Try it and see if it works for you. This worked for me. 1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON2 position…

FICTION! Best in Tires and Wheels

I replaced a faulty TPMS sensor on my 2007 Silverado 1500 (NBS) and spent HOURS exhausting and inhaling only for the system to refuse to read the sensors to recognize. Tires 10ply A/T KO if that matters. I relocated the tires (relocate the valve for better reception?) and tried again. I followed the 8-10 seconds (consecutive with stopwatch for 9s +/- 0.5s) GM advice, I tried venting 5s, 8s, 15s at other times. I've tried deflating constantly, sometimes for up to 1 minute, all to no avail. Even…

Take those government engines!

Remember when you could retrain tire sensors with just a DIC and a manual? Well, apparently GM decided that was too much freedom for the owner of one of their cars, so what did they decide? Make it so that the dealer has to be consulted - and possibly for a fee. Well my troubles are over! I used this on a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse LTZ and when I followed the owner's manual the horn beeped at the right time and the tires locked into position (as tested by deflating to see a visible change in the…
