Review on πŸ‘“ Ultimate Eye Protection: MotoProducts Tactical Over Glasses Goggles with ANSI Z87.1 Safety & Antifog Technology by Kyle Omaha

Third purchase of these glasses - they look great with my glasses!

This is my third time buying these glasses. From other reviews I see that these glasses are sometimes not always suitable for wearing over glasses but they worked for me. I first bought them to use when riding my adult tricycle because I live in a rural area and often ride dirt roads where passing cars give me problems with dust and rocks. Closing your eyes until the dust cloud clears is a bad (not to mention dangerous) decision. My trike also has a motor that can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h where wind and bugs are an additional problem. In fact, I finally decided on glasses after an insect flew behind the frame of my glasses and bit the bridge of my nose. OH! These goggles also provide excellent sun protection, replacing clip-on sunglasses while driving. I saw a review where they complained that the nose pads on their glasses pressed uncomfortably on the nose through the glasses. Whenever I've encountered this, I've simply put the glasses back on my face and raised the headband position higher on the back of my head to fix the problem. I also ride an ATV so goggles are quite necessary for this. So much so that I got points (not equal) for my 60-pound Golden Doodle sitting in the seat behind me. After all, she struggles with the same problems of wind, dust, rocks, bugs and sun as I do. As for the anti-fog claims of these glasses, it would be more correct to call them anti-fog. The goggles have slits to allow some airflow so I didn't have an issue with fogged goggles when cycling with a bike helmet, but as soon as I switched to a faceplate motorcycle helmet for quad biking I started to experience a bit of fogging - probably because the air circulation has decreased. By lifting the protective mask or slightly removing the glasses from the face for a few moments, the fog dissipated. But fogging wasn't a constant problem - it seemed to be related to temperature and humidity. Caution: Handle these glasses with due care to avoid scratching the lenses. Store them carefully so nothing touches the lenses and, if possible, rinse with water to remove dust. If using water isn't an option, blow off as much dust as you can, then use a microfiber cloth to *gently* remove the remaining dust. I didn't use these methods on my first pair of glasses, which resulted in them scratching to the point where they were degrading my vision faster than necessary. With due diligence, I used the second pair for much longer.
