Review on EnGenius Technologies Long Range 11N 5GHz Wireless Bridge/Access Point (ENS500) by Josh Nat

This is an amazing unit. It has very high output and allows a bridge for your lap top to a WIFI access point. It is weather proof and has a very nice case. I set it up in just a few minutes. Set it up from my laptop in the bridge mode and DHCP, then did a search for an access point. It gave me a list to choose from and the Name and signal strength of each in the listing. After I picked one then it asked me for the password for the WIFI access point I chose. I then put in the PW for the WIFI site I wanted to connect to and saved the settings this connected to the access point across the water way and I then had Internet on my laptop. Then I unhooked the unit Ethernet cable from my laptop. At that point I then hooked into the WAN port of a Netgear WIFI router. This then allows Internet access for our phones, laptops, revain Firestick, Roku and more in our camper. The speeds are around 30mbps down and 6mbps up. But I am sure that is cause of my laptop is old and has an old WIFI interface built in. But these speeds are more than enough for our family. The Engenius unit plugged into the laptop was even faster the instant I pushed a button the web page would jump onto the screen. So now I am ordering two more of these for a WIFI link instead of running 300 feet of cat 5 cable so we can have WIFI at our Lake club's Baseball field. I'll use two of these and one of their 2.4/5GHz Access Points mounted to a power pole near the Ball field, Hey if your wanting to use one of the EnGenius products do it!
