Review on HiLetgo ESP8285 Development Compatible ESP8266 by Ray Richards
Read the description - NOT ESP8266
So I bought it thinking it was the ESP8266 (my fault) but it wasn't. Luckily they can be flashed with ESPEasy and work just like the ESP8266 (but with less memory). The picture has the ESP8266 board on the left and this ESP8285 (smaller) on the right.
- *ESP8285 = ESP8266 + 1M Flash so that it can withstand high temperatures of up to 125 degrees Celsius! And the original ESP8266 source code program can be used for transplantation.
- Not as good as it says
