Review on 🔬 Accurate Measurement of Nitrate (NO3) Levels: NYOS Reefer Aquarium Test Kit by Monica Johnston

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good test for nitrates in salt water, but not great. Much better than API nitrate test kits.

I like this set but can't say I like it. It's fairly accurate and not too difficult to use, but I'd like more resolution and I don't like the bottle used to add the reagent drops. The bottle seems to be more than 1/2 empty and it's not the best bottle I've seen. It looks kinda cheap and fragile. I'd rather you raise the price, buy a better bottle, and then refill it. I didn't really fall in love with the addition of powder either. It's not terrible, but opening and closing the little glass vial makes me think I'll slip and end up smearing it all over the room. The little water bottles are great. They're the same as powders, but for liquids, they're not as bad as just water. And I like Caps more than API TestCases. The color comparator is nicely printed and accurate but wish it was a little heavier and had better water resistance. It's better than an API test, but I don't like it right now. (I wish Hannah built a colorimeter for saltwater nitrates)
