I'm not one of those people who doesn't write reviews often, but for people who either want to buy a great first chess set, or, like me, wanted to buy a second replacement set better than that, I had, I think this set is perfect for you. My first set was wooden and I couldn't tell the king from the queen. I also didn't like the pieces falling off because they or the board weren't magnetized. I also didn't want to spend more than 20.00 per set. This set meets all requirements. If you really love chess but don't want to spend $40-$100 or more for a quality set, this is for you. You will not be disappointed.
